About Jennifer

jdrummondI live in the lovely community of Asbury Grove, where I enjoy the beauty of a wooded setting with my hubby. My children are on an adventure and thriving in the local public school system (having attended Plumfield Academy, a fantastic Charlotte Mason school, it’s a change for all of us, but a good one) . I work part-time at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, another fantastic place to work and grow and learn. I continue to contemplate God, participating in the life of my church, Christ the Redeemer. I also enjoy the seasonal bounty of the earth at several favorite farms: Appleton Farms, Connors Farm, and Green Meadows.

My husband and I have begun a side business: Drum Drum Photo. It’s been a pleasure see that taking shape, and to continue blogging, writing poems and taking my own photographs of flowers and food.

  1. Hi Jennifer, my dad loved Salem and brought us there several weekends as children. We loved the House of Seven Gables and your wonderful town. I hope to visit again with my own sons. I have had aspirations for a Halloween trip but it probably is not the best time due to crowds. I hear that Rockport is beautiful too! Thanks for following and have great day!

    • Thanks, Kathy. We’ve really enjoyed living here as well, and yes while October is a very fun month to be here, the downside is major traffic… Thanks for stopping by.
